Plumbing is considered a fail-safe career — and Jim knew that from the start. He began his plumbing career immediately out of high school, building a foundation of hands-on expertise that would span more than four decades.
After working through virtually every phase of the walk-in tub and shower industry over nearly 20 years, Jim watched homeowners pay upward of $20,000 for bathroom upgrades that simply didn't need to cost that much. He believed there was a better way.
Budget Bath Ohio launched in 2026 — a new company, but one built on a lifetime of experience. Through careful due diligence and smart material choices, Jim and Sherri set out to offer quality walk-in showers, walk-in tubs, and tub-to-shower conversions at a fraction of what the national chains charge.
